Preparing for Mass

Sunday Liturgy

Our worship together is to be at the center of our parish life. We gather to celebrate together all that our God has done for us. We gather to be nourished by the Word of God; proclaimed and broken open. We gather to celebrate Eucharist; taken, blessed, broken and shared.

"The liturgy is the summit torward which the activities of the church is directred; at the same time it is the fount from which all its power flows."

"From the liturgy, therefore, particularly the Eucharist, grace is poured forth upon us as from a fountain; the liturgy is the source for achieving in the most effective way possible human sanctification and God’s glorification, the end to which all the Church’s other activities are directed."
